About Us
Our Main Goals
As an organ of SSVP, an international Christian voluntary organisation, we are dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing direct practical assistance to those in need. Voluntary members visit the lonely, the sick, and the marginalised. Our goal is to bring God's love to those in need through the healing ministry of Jesus.
We focus on alleviating the impacts of poverty on individuals and families by engaging in direct, person-to-person assistance. Volunteers give their time, care and compassion to assist the most vulnerable in our community.

What we do
We do it for People in need
medicine delivery
We help patients learn about their medications and find support for getting effective treatment for chronic and acute medical conditions.
food delivery
Vincentians deliver food to those who, for a variety of reasons, aren't able to get it for themselves.

Volunteer teams often sit down with the families to hear their stories, navigate additional needs, offer a prayer, and help to connect additional resources when appropriate.
visiting the sick
We visit parishioners and known families in their homes or in hospitals to offer support, encouragement and practical help.

Poverty denies talented individuals, educational opportunities. We organize assistance to select students meet their educational needs.
spiritual support
The motivation for the Members of the St Vincent de Paul Society is found in the spirituality of the Society. The spirituality of the Society involves both prayer and action.
